For those whose mind wasn't in the gutter, work got hit with the Zotob worm around 7:30pm EST.

Ahhhhh...nothing like easy, easy money. No PC = no work to do. It meant I got to sit around until 11pm collecting the cash for zero work.

Huzzah!

And since I'm the only one here with a Win2k box as far as I know, all I have to do is wait a few days for panicked traffic to die off and then download the update from MS.

My machine is dual-boot with Windoze 2000 on it. I just never use it. Yay for Win98 giving the finger to Zotob.

Main machine is Win 2K. Updated it before the worm got loose in the wild. *ducks as bullet whizzes by*

The real trick is to collect the money for not working and not even having to be there.

I could have done that...but, would rather not burn up my paid time off when sitting around on my duff at work, accruing paid time off and getting paid doing zip.

That' wasn't quite what I was getting at. I ws thinking more along the lines of "Go home, you'll still be paid for the rest of the day.

OTOH, I don't think your employer would ever go for that.
